I also own this (The original version). I'd highly recommend it, but some things need to get thrown out the window and I have some advice. Firstly, don't expect this to be an excellent USB charger. I look at it more as a hybrid batter powered rocket stove that is self stoking. It makes a fire tornado in the chamber, and does this VERY well. I'd recommend keeping a 12" or so hand saw with you, and cutting 1-2.5" diameter branches of hard wood into 3-4" length sections, then use a hatchet to lob those in 1/2 or less. It's the best way to feed this thing once it gets going.
Edit. Nevermind.
This one does not generate power from the heat. Now I don't really see the point of this model.
