Uphill Touring Skins
Providing effective uphill traction and glide, the Black Diamond Ascension STS climbing skins are ideal for backcountry ski touring and ski mountaineering. The woven nylon plush is tear and abrasion resistant and easy to pack. The patented STS tail-attachment system allows for quick setup and has up to 10 centimeters of adjustability to accommodate different skis and preferred tensioning. Finally, the tail has a bikini-style trim that reduces drag, while the adjustable tip loop allows the skins to be used with a variety of ski tip shapes.
