Based on the Black Diamond I-Tent’s expedition-focused design, the Firstlight features steep walls and a simple floor shape to optimize living space and increase headroom. The canopy is made from the company’s proprietary NanoShield single-wall fabric, equal parts breathable and water-resistant, with double-sewn seams and reinforced stress points for added durability. Two interior pockets keep small items organized, while the single door and small rear window—both covered in no-see-um mesh—let you get a good cross-breeze going. Best of all, the pack-friendly Firstlight weighs about 53 ounces.
