I have owned one of these for years and it's a fantastic tent . I don't use it for any crazy mountaineering just backpacking in the rocky mountains. it's completely water proof and very sturdy, zippers and everything are holding up just fine. It's not the best summer tent, venting only comes from the main door and a tiny vent window in the back. I'll still take it in the summer though, i'f it stays in a shady spot then you wont be cooking in it.
