I returned two of these because the built-in charger stopped working on both. Very unpleasant to think you have a head lamp ready for a night hike and having to resort to your cell phone flashlight. Yes, the charger light was solid green, and I held down the button for sleep mode. I went with a Zebralight 18650, and it's been great.
