I hate this thing: 1) There are 3 brightness modes and 3 different colors. All operated by a single button based on how you long hold, double hold, single hold. They could have simplified it tremendously by just adding another button. I read through the instructions and immediately forgot how to operate it. 2) The light sucks. It's not bright while also being too focused, even in multiple LED mode. I prefer using my 10 year old petzl tikka. 3) It's heavy.
The only benefit I see is the red mode for doing night-time astronomy, but because of the stupid button, I end up cycling through the white light and ruining my nighttime vision anyway.
