That most unattractive (read: butt-ugly) logo really kills the looks of an otherwise not bad-looking set--pity!

RayFTis true. That logo makes them look ridiculous. The style is fine, but setting a table with these pieces is akin to wearing jeans with "Levis" plastered across the entire backside. They've also plopped that ugly thing right where a monogram would be engraved, if you were inclined to such things. If they're trying to blaze some sort of design trail, I'd put this in the fail category.
