LoadI think I can spare a quarter of an ounce. Same reason I have wood furniture on my guns, Polymer isnt worth 2 ounces.

FurriousLynxI won't disagree that wood on firearms is nice. But many people would argue that wood is incredible passe on firearms as well. To each his own. I think you are mixing up passe, and classic in the sense of these down beanies, as down items require this "style" to manage down loft and distribution. So it serves function and has a cool, timeless look.
