I'm sorry but am I the only one that think these hats are quite ugly? It's a puffy jacket on your head

seschimeresA hermes scarf would look better but won't keep your head as warm in the backcountry.
You choose.

seschimeresQuite! But I suppose if and when you need one, you won't care.

seschimeresYou are correct, but since I got one of these for Christmas and worn it on those very cold days in Minnesota, I don't care. My head is warm and not too warm. Also, my hair isn't matted down when I take off the hat. Weighing in at only one ounce, they are great.

Style always supersedes functionality! Still waiting for that damn Hermes scarf drop, by the way...

Cast_Iron_KidNever wear a hat myself, but I have been wearing 180's in cold weather from Buffalo to Fairbanks, for many years now--I wouldn't go outdoors without 'em!

seschimeresIt is a puffy jacket for your head. Some of us have ugly heads already and the hat in many cases can improve upon that... ;)

seschimeresMy boyfriend won't even consider a puffy jacket, yet we live in Minnesota and are outside for over an hour at a time. He thinks they are just too hideous to wear, even though he is not into style/fashion whatsoever.
You can tell he never goes backpacking ;-) I think that'd change his tune real quick.
