Hi All - I gave BlackRock Gear a sneak peak of our order so they could get a head start on production. They were surprised by the number of XL hats ordered. So I am reposting their sizing advice here. You can change your size up until the drop ends, so even if you've already joined, you can still alter your selection.
Here's the advice from BlackRock Gear: Based on the distribution of hats sold there are too many XL’s on order. I would expect a good number of those XL hats sold to actually need size large. Everyone that ordered an XL should double check their head size so we can get them the best hat first time around. The XL is a VERY big hat and generally doesn’t fit unless your head measures 24 1/4 inches or larger which translates to a ball cap size of 7 3/4" or 62cm.
Measure your head using a fabric tape measure or something such as a shoelace. Wrap is across your brow where you’d like a hat to sit and above your ears. Go around the back of your head and pul it snug but not tight. That should give you a good size to within about a quarter inch.
In general, most men fit a size large and most women fit a medium.

DannyMilksMy head around the ear is right at 24 1/2 inches with a cloth tape pulled fairly tight, closer to 25 inches if not, so I'm assuming the XL is necessary?
