whats the difference between miyota movement and the ones in the 3000$+ watches?

LewLewOne of the cheapest automatic movements available. They are more common than coins... Generally reliable, but not too accurate or special in any way. Sub par to almost all other automatic movements.

ASH17That's not really accurate. The Miyota 9015 was Citizen's answer to the ETA 2824-2. It has the same beat rate (28800 bph), similar power-reserve (around 40 hours) and is a hacking movement. It also sports a similar accuracy unadjusted. It is therefore generally regarded to be a reasonable alternative to the more expensive (and difficult to obtain) ETA 2824-2.

ASH17Wow, that is about as inaccurate as you can get. This Miyota movement is on par with a ETA 2824-2 as mentioned below.
