I do not really see the need for them to be fold-back. If it were a "normal" ultralight down mitt and a bit cheaper, I would love it...
namelessWe also have a pair that's not a fold-back. They are the "Liner" mitts and are nothing but ultralight fabric with about 40% additional goose down than we put in the Foldbacks.
If I could do a cheaper price I would but we buy only the best down I can source, use excellent fabrics and then construct them right here in the US by my group of expert gear makers. If I didn't pay my guys a living wage I'd still be making everything myself. :)

BlackRockThank you for your reply, much appreciated! I am glad to hear that you pay a living wage.
Please do not take my comment as a general complaint about the price but rather to point out that a non-foldback version should be a bit cheaper than a foldback version if otherwise identical because it comprises less manufacturing steps than the foldback version. To me, the extra costs to create a foldback feels like money wasted because I do not need a foldback, and, therefore I am unlikely to join such an offer. Others might feel this way as well (or not), as I am sure you would find out if you did a test run with the non-foldback on MD...
On a more personal level, the sweet spot for me is a price of USD 60-65 including international shipping due to tax reasons, but that obviously is not a very objective aspect ;)
