Hey guys, I took part in this group buy and just got it in the mail and installed it in my car. I am a MECP (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) and work for a large retailer for car electronic installation. If anyone has any questions about how to install this on their own (more likely questions about Power Magic Pro) then feel free to ask me. If you're not comfortable doing it on your own run it to your local Best Buy, shouldn't run you more than $40.

Spencer_B@Spencer how should I go about routing the power cable from up top down below my dash to where the PMP is going to be installed? I've got a 2012 Passat TDI SEL that's got side airbags, I'm a little wary of those front columns.

at0mGo up into your head liner, run it across the top of the windshield (inside the headliner so you can't see it), then if you remove the weatherstripping around the door panel (I went to the passenger side, it doesn't matter though) and pop off the plastic panel you will see the airbag. To remove the weather stripping you just pull it off, it takes some pressure but it's not glued in just attached via pressure. All you have to do is make sure your wire is not directly in front of it. Going over, under, behind etc. will be ok as long as it doesn't obstruct the field of operation for that airbag. In reality, it would take a lot more than that wire to stop an airbag but it doesn't hurt to be safe.
