I would get this, but the reports of heat issues and me living in Texas don't mix too well. Maybe at a lower price but not taking the risk for $300

RafterDoubt you will find a deal better than $230 off MSRP. This is a steal.
I live in Houston, TX. My friends run this unit and haven't had any issues with heat.

Rbeebe87This is a great deal. You guys need to think of these like expensive radar detectors.
You just take them off the dash if you're going to leave your car in the sun in the summer for more than an hour.
