Having previously posted in these discussions and been asked about the BLON B8 compared to the Sivga SV006, I acquired a new (revised model) B8 and can confirm: The B8 is identical to the SV006 - just unbranded.
The original B8's headband-too-large issue has been corrected with this updated model, which also has a narrower sound-stage compared to the original model.
The only catch is, the uncomfortable and sound-hindering stock pads absolutely must be replaced. After experimenting with over a dozen pad models, I recommend the Brainwavz Angled PU Leather Pads, which result in a large soundstage and overall balanced sound. Although they lack in the aspect of ventilation, these synthetic 'pleather' pads don't sound bloated or dark, as with real leather pads .
Honorable mentions:
- The 'dark grey velour' pads from a brand called misodiko (Amazon item B07QWZYTGF). These pads provide a good center-image - excellent with vocal tracks - but somewhat tame the bass response.
- Brainwavz' Micro Suede Pads breathe result in a rather dry sound, with a smaller sound-stage... but everything about the sound is under control and precise.

It looks like the newer version has 2 connectors. It's interesting if they changed drivers.

I got these from Aliexpress during the 11/11 sales. Build quality on these HP are actually quite solid. I gave it a quick listen then immediately swapped out the earpads as suggested by the community. The soundstage widens very noticibly, without loss in bass and the fit on my head improved!! Get them simultaneously with the earpads.

Do these sound just like the Sivga sv006? I saw Zeos's review on them and I'm tempted to get them. If they do I'll jump on em. (the Sivga's on aliexpress go for 95usd)

rowaihi.11Just got mine, very good, only con is a loss of SPL ~8kHz (noticed doing a sine sweep, not listening to music). It’s pretty light too.
EDIT: Vocals sound a bit echoey. But for the price, I didn’t expect wonders.

Alright, Drop will ship 27th of Dec, and Black Friday is coming (Nov 29). These will be on sale for $60 on AliExpress. Just buy them there, and you'll probably get them before Drop even ships. ($58 if you count the $2 coupon AliExpress gives on Black Friday).
Or heck, they're $65 right now, so you can just pick them up now you're in a hurry.
Whenever you buy anything China from Drop, always check other sites for prices. Often times, you can buy them at the same, if not, cheaper price without having to wait as long.

I'm very happy with these. I added the microsuede Brainwavz pads, some Dekoni Nuggets that I had lying around, and let them burn in for 36 hours on shuffle of all my music. So I'm basically into them for $100, and they sound and feel great. The Nuggets (stick-on pad cushions) help the fit with my smaller head and are super comfortable.

How well do those things stick to the headband? I've seen mixed reviews about that on the Amazon page.
