Baby come back! You can blame it all on me! Although the sound was a bright, the comfort was the best, smaller and lighter than ve monk lites. I should have bought a handful when they were 5 bucks!

Just got these yesterday. There's no comparison...the VE monks blow these out of the water--both soundwise and build quality. After one day of use of BEBs the cable is kinked... complete crap cable. Anemic sound. Frankly the BEBs sound like most other earbuds... like shit. The monks are so special because they completely defy logic (so inexpensive and so unassuming, yet stunningly good... better than many of my mid-grade IEMs).
Now, obviously, $10 ear buds should sound like shit.... it's the massdrop hype that annoys me.

DanbsteinThere are better earbuds than the monks for same or less price. The monk lite 120ohm and the yincrow x6 are better in my opinion amd under ten bucks. I think these 328r buds on limited listening so far, sound better than monks too.

WakamaruAs someone who has overpaid for these years ago.
The monks are much, much better.

WakamaruAt $10/each, I'd prefer these over the Monk Plus for their sound and how well they fit my ears, but any other day the Monk Plus is more cheaper and more durable despite their marginally worse sound.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Blue Ever Blue 328R and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where we'll break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 1/18.
Rest assured that we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 1/11.

I really love these, and am tempted to scoop up another pair, but I just purchased a few Edifier P180s from Amazon for $17 (including mic), and am anxious to see how they compare. Until Yuin ever decides to add mics to their PKs, these are the best best for bang for your buck buds.

Got these the last time around but just tried them out today. They're not going to replace a good pair of reference grade studio headphones but they're great for the price. Nicely balanced, clear sound. Not as bass dominant as the description might suggest but adequate. One thing to note though. You'll definitely need the pads and, even at that, you don't want to shove them too far into your ear. If you do, they lose clarity noticeably. But inserted strictly based on comfort, they're very clear. However, these comments are based on plugging them into an android phone. Can't say if they would profit from a headphone amp or amp/dac although I do have a tube based amp/dac that would answer that question.
