EDIT: someone had previously recommended the similar ES100 to me a few weeks via MD comments. Anyone know how this compares? Roughly the same price.
Oof. I just bought MEE's new mmcx BT cable too (yep it's good!). Oh well, count me in for all the other goodies I love that don't have removable cables AND this has an amp/DAC. At $99 I think it's worth the cost of admission, especially when it supports AptX HD, which not a lot out there does yet, and can push headphones that normally I'd have to be sitting at my comp to use.

mayorblurpsI have both the Get and the Earstudio ES100. My ES100 has been rock solid while both Gets have been somewhat shaky in their connection stability. That said, both devices have very good sound although I give the edge to the ES100. Both drive my Sennheiser HD 800 phones, HD600 phones and ny Oppo PM3 planar phones well although their is an easily audible difference when driving the HD 800s in favor of the ES100. Also, the ES100 IS able to drive headphones in balanced mode. I have a balanced cable coming for my HD 800 and HD 600 phones and expect it to make a further difference. Also the ES100 has apps for both Android and iOS with many functions including a 10 band equalizer. Currently there is no app for the Get although I understand one is in development.
As far as loose volume wheels go, neither of my Gets suffer from that reported problem.

Chick_WhiteHi Chick_white, if I may you can drop us an email at info@bluewaveaudio.ca if you have a problematic connection stability, we'll try to work with you on troubleshooting it. We are aware for example that for some users upgrading to Android 8 Oreo did fix issues some user have had. but we'd like to know more on your experience. BT 5 is still quite new and on both ends sometimes there's a short period where stuff get improved. Connection should be solid on everything but we'd like more info to be able to help you.

Chick_WhiteNot really on topic, but I thought I’d say the pm3 is wired for balanced as well. Maybe you’ll want to try it, I don’t know. Oppo decided not to sell a balanced cable, but you can email them for the trrs rings/wiring details. I remember reading that the Sony mdr1a is wired for balanced as well but the trrs rings are different. Good cable makers should know the details too. Love my pm3.

Pierre111After reading your note, I tried the Gets after updating my OS and my stability problems seem to be solved. So not an issue with the Get itself.
