The first batch of orders has been shipped. People whose order has shipped should have received an email with tracking. The rest of the orders should be going out early next week. We will make sure to update the group once the complete order ships.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 5/23 or sooner if something comes up.
Just got my shipping notification email, looks like I'll be getting it the 18th. I always love it when packages come a lot earlier than I was originally anticipating.
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Board Games for History Buffs and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will ship the individual orders directly to you. The current estimated ship date is 5/23.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 5/18.

NetProwlerSadly, I haven't managed to get either to the table yet, because my desire to play board games outpaces my ability to find people to play them with. That said, I watched a lovely runthrough of New Amsterdam (
) and it looks like a fabulous game.
New Amsterdam is a euro game with interesting auctions and area control. I know the most about it because rahdo did a runthrough. Lost Valley sort of strikes me as a euro/ameritrash hybrid about exploring the Yukon valley and, of course, trying to bring back some gold.
At $21 per game shipped, this is a pretty good deal. An interesting mix of games. Each with individual mechanics, not a lot of overlap in terms of strategy, so one isn't going to make another irrelevant. The rankings on BGG are decent for each, New Amsterdam at the top of the heap of three. Best I can make for all three is ~86 without shipping. Worth a leap, and never mind the history angle, they're good games in general.
