So sorry for the delayed response time. The iPad pocket is not RFID protected. The RFID pocket is in the center of the organizer panel. There is a pocket between the front panel of the bag and the body of the bag. The organizer panel is in that pocket and extends the full width of the bag. It includes 2 pen holders, 2 phone/sunglasses pockets, the RFID pocket, a leather business card pocket, and a clip for keys. The RFID pocket measures (6.5" H x 4.5" W) and the phone/sunglasses pockets are (4.5 H x 3.5" W). The Dowel Rod and Analyst Bag both also have a back pocket that converts to a slide through panel to put over your wheeled luggage.
