I'm very tempted, but isn't leather so hard to take care of? Water spots, stains, patina, cracking, etc.

SurefireSurefire - I understand your concern. With proper care though, this bag will last you much longer than a canvas or nylon bag. We have many consumers that do not do anything to treat their bags and still carry them for many years. However, in order to keep your bag looking new longer, I'd suggest purchasing a leather conditioner. You can wipe the bag with it every few months or if you notice a stain in it. Do not spot clean, treat all the leather areas to prevent uneven tone. You can also purchase leather water repellent spray if you are concerned about water spots. As for patina - the leather with wear, but we think this is one of the most beautiful parts about leather, it softens with use and has an unmatched authentic quality to it. Cracking is not an issue, this leather is high quality and I've never encountered a customer with that issue.

BOCONIHi Boconi, what kind of leather conditioner and water repellent spray are you talking about? I've been looking online for a good brand to no avail. Thanks. I wish I had the bag in my hands already... so excited.
