Micarta was a popular substitute for knife handles - I looks nice, wears well but is less expensive than mother of pearl, stag horn or bone

RadamsrnWish Böker offered it in different materials. Like the ones you mentioned would work.

RadamsrnMr. Pedantic here. Micarta is a brand name. It is a product consisting of some material that can be impregnated with some thermo-setting resin. The kind often seen in knife handles is linen impregnated with phenol formaldehyde, AKA Bakelite. The pen looks like it is paper with PF. Anyone know?

BrainFlushFinally got the pen. It looks like layers of G10 which is like FR4 circuit board without the fire retardant. The feel and weight is nice. The clip is too stiff to the point of being useless. Does not come with a Fisher refill. It uses Parker style refills.
