Eh maybe not, 440C doesn't scream German alloy. Still seems pretty beefy however.

Usern473Same company, different product line; Boker's Solingen line is their made-in-Germany stuff, while most of the Boker Plus is made overseas. It is worth noting, however, that Boker does use 440C in many of their German-made knives, so take that for what you will.
