The Boker Plus Bolt-Action Rocket Pen is as fun to play with as it is to write with. Every time you open and close it, you press a lever that acts like a bolt-action mechanism you’d find in a rifle Read More

So sturdy, so fun. It’s my EDC of choice although I switch to something fancier when going out dressed up. Sent one to my brother in law and bought one for each of the associates in my office.
Decent value for money. It's got a nice click and good heft. The refill that came with the pen is lackluster.. it's running out after just a week or so of light to moderate use. The shape takes some getting used to as well, but my biggest qualm is that the screw-on cap at the top seems to get loose rather easily.
The pen is made of great material and has a solid hefty weight to it. The problem is the bolt action lever is hard to articulate. The ink that it came with was lackluster, so be prepared to replace with a better refill. Finally what you can't see in the picture is just how darn oblong the shape is, making hard to comfortably write with, if taking long notes.
Great pen, nice to write with. However, the stainless clip broke in my pocket due to strain from sitting down, my fault, but the clip could still be sturdier.
I bought the black aluminum version on a previous drop. Nice pen. The bolt is satisfyingly clicky when needing a fidget toy :) My only mehs about it are: the slightly flattened, oblong body which can be awkward to use for prolonged writing; and no info included about how to change the refill. Thankfully there are gel Parker G2 refills if you don't like their ballpoints.
Very robust pen and good size for pocket carry. Did not have instructions on how to replace the refill, which requires a small star wrench, and had to search the internet to find out how to do it.
