For some reason I thought this was going to be a USA made knife, but I see on other sites that the Urban Trapper is made overseas. Is that the case even on this exclusive??

seahunterBoker actually just started selling a knife that is produced in the USA by Fox USA. It's a sweet little drop point, back lock with FRN handles similar to what you find on a Delica. I recently picked up a Mini A2 front flipper that is a very nice little knife. I've been impressed with some of the quality that I've seen from Boker, even in the Chinese produced models. They've definitely stepped up their game.

HackenslashThanks for the reply, sounds like a nice little knife. Yes, as long as the out of country knives get good quality control checks on materials and workmanship - just like should be done here - they put out good knives as well.

HackenslashIve always heard horror stories of Boker finish in the past... But they seem to have good customer service. I only own a stock urban trapper that I purchased about a year ago, which has extreme lock up issues (read: at one point the thing didn't lock up at all, now its so iffy I barely carry it). I'm still hung on this knife because of that.

HackenslashWe heard about their Fox production but I haven't gotten a chance to play with one yet. I expect we'll see a lot more Italy-produced knives with the Boker name on them soon. Agreed on the overall quality level we're seeing from their productions, regardless of location. Thanks @Hackenslash, that Mini A2 with blue ano liners will complement this one very nicely.

JonasHeinemanItaly is great! They've got pizza, beautiful landscapes and monuments, beautiful people, and of course, a millennia old knife-making tradition!
