I have this knife from a previous drop. It is the perfect size, weight and grip for an all-purpose EDC with a forward facing thumb grip for fighting if ever needed. Nice balance. I love this knife and highly recommend it for an EDC folder, as a collector with 50+ high end knives. My other EDC is a Benchmade Bob Lum full-size folder.
CodewynI have all three.. Not sure I see the similarity to the Rubicon but it's certainly comparable to the Vollotton. The Spydie just edges it for fit and finish and the compound blade tip, but at this price the Squall is good value. Especially compared to prices here in England.
JamesAshYeah, it's a nice knife at a good price. I have had or handled the Rubicon and Vollotton, but not this one. I thought the blade profile seemed like a bit of a hybrid of the Rubicon and Vollotton.
Hey Massdrop. I'm pretty sure that when I signed up for this drop it specified polished micarta scales. Now it says G10. This version of the knife can be had for $1 more on Amazon Prime delivered in a few days. You're not making me feel very cool.
kingcomanche666And I'm checking my pending drops to make sure that they are accurate and something I really want to buy. Listing innaccurate information is a bad move.
So then: https://smile.amazon.com/Boker-01BO309-VG-10-Squail-Knife/dp/B015NGV0O0
which is $80.64 with amazon prime?
The description needs to be fixed as it's still stating micarta handle material while the specs do call it G10. Also I dont see the shipping rate, did I miss that? This is not a deal for me if the price plus $7.50 shipping makes it $82.49 right?
