With the press of just one button, this Bonavita brewer makes eight cups of coffee at a time, while the included glass thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for up to an hour and a half. The brewer’s design is based on the premise that reaching an optimal temperature between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit is key to making great coffee. To that end, Bonavita included a 1,450-watt heater to maintain this optimal temperature throughout the brewing process. Pre-infusion mode saturates grounds first to allow degassing. Plus, the large shower head allows for better saturation and uniform extraction. The carafe also has a user-friendly spout for precision pouring.
