The whole kettle is amazing. I've used a lot of electric kettles over the years for my morning tea, this is clearly the best. Whoever designed it clearly uses it. All have the same basic design but it's the PLC and programming that makes the difference. I love how carefully it "sneaks" up on the set temperature. Add in a few nice goodies like the splash screen and the package is the bomb.
I already have one (bought regular retail) and am in for two more backup copies. Kettles tend to die after 2-3 years regular use.

CubeMammalThat's pretty sad when they were running all over with this thing saying it is commercial UL rated. What coffee/tea shop would want to buy a product which just dies after a couple years, even if they can get a special deal on them. I mean there's a reason people buy "industrial" products for a work setting, they're built to last and put up with the rigors of whatever it's job is. If it dies from regular home use that fast, who knows how fast it would in a work setting.
