Got the M5. First impressions were good - packaging was passable, carrying case is nice, lots of tips included, and a shirt clip, which is always nice. Unfortunately, after an hour of listening, I'm not very impressed at all with the sound. Each individual area, on it's own, seems pretty good - the bass is a bit loud compared to the rest of the signature, but it's punchy and pretty clean. The mids are solid, and the highs are actually better than average for this price class. The issue is, they seem incapable of putting it all together into a good sound - it feels disjointed and poorly matched. I can't complain too much since I was just playing for the chance at the HD800s or such, but these will go back in the box and get shuffled off to the next person who whines to me about fixing their broken skullcandies or something.
