The clone of the HM5—the NVX XPT100, is a better deal in my opinion. $69.99 on Amazon with Prime shipping. Still comes with both sets of pads, the foam case, and both a short and long cable along with 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter.

XephyrothThe best part, it's not even a clone. These are both a Yoga CD 880. Yoga is a headphone OEM and company's just buy their products and slap on a logo.
Any variants of the CD 880 should sound just about the same.

givemeyourshoesIf I recall, I think there are minor differences in the headband and perhaps material for the earcup. The NVX has apparently less clamping force than the HM5, but the drivers and design are the same otherwise. As an owner of the NVX model, I think it's a great buy, and I had bought it at $80.

XephyrothYes, there are minor differences die sure. But as you said, the driver are the same. In fat, Fischer Audio even sells a version. Theirs use a titanium coated driver even. I have that version, and the HM5, and they sound almost the same even. $80 is definitely the upper limit of what one should pay for any of the Yoga CD 880 rebrands.
