Wasn't expecting much but was still disappointed
I got this watch because I really enjoyed the minimalist design and the clean dial with the signature yellow second hand. I definitely think this is a beautifu11l watch.
With that said, I'm aware that the BN0231 wouldn't be anywhere close to the Made-in-Germany quality of the AW10 quartzes. It feels flimsy and light, which I didn't really mind. Over time it got increasingly difficult to adjust the time as there was a high amount of play present when trying to snap the crown in; the minute hand will skew a little in an unpredictable direction when it's set. If you don't mind the minute hand being a bit offset, then you can probably overlook this detail, but my OCD goes wild on this and I low-key dread daylight savings a little more now.
Another thing I noticed was that the second hand will sometimes tick in place indefinitely, causing the watch to "run slow" since it's been stuck at the same time for who knows how long.
All things considered, this makes for a nice collector's item but definitely not practical in everyday use given its flaws, ironically enough. Given the chance to go back in time, I'd pass on buying this and spend a bit more on the AW10.

I love the size, simplicity and build of the watch. The indices are legible and clean. However, it did arrive with a few scratches on the crystal. I'm not bothered about it because it adds character to the watch, in my opinion.

Soon after the watch arrived (12:53 pm) I set the time. It died at 1:35 pm. I don't know if it's a lousy battery or a lousy watch. Regardless, it's not working. Apparently, I'm not the only one who's experienced this issue.
It looks nice.

Beautiful watch! I love it! One tiny problem is that it seems to wants to go to the side of my wrist. I probably just need to break it in! LOL

Looks clean in pictures but its low quality when in hand, the battery died with in an hour of receiving it and setting the time. I wouldn't buy it again.

Clean design and easy to wear. I probably wouldn’t pay more than the $60 massdrop price for the quality which is good for that price.
