With roots dating back to 1884, Breitling knows its way around a timepiece. Perhaps best known for the Navitimer watch, worn ubiquitously by pilots in the mid 20th century, they’ve carved out an impressive reputation over the years Read More
No they will not. This is something that Massdrop needs to state in these product sales. Even though you have a factory warranty it is basically useless.
The next Breitling drop that I see listed, I will make sure and comment on the experience I have had. It's unfortunate that this type of deception is happening. I have my doubts about the watch in fact that Breitling stated there was water damage to the watch. This supposedly was a brand new, which I also have my doubts about now as well.
The old adage of "You get what you pay for" holds true in this case for sure.
Lesson learned, go to a reputable Brick and Mortar store and make your purchases.
IndyWebDudeTo update on this. I have sent my watch to Breitling to service, and was told it had water damage. The watch had never been in the water since I had received it.
MD initially wanted me to send it to a 3rd party for repairs, but I had already sent to Breitling factory repair in CT. Massdrop did agree to reimburse me the cost for the repairs.
Received mine today and cannot be more happy! Will have to get it resized though...Maybe a novice question, but the date of purchase is blank on the waranty card...Does it have any impact if one needs to claim any warranty?

Almost 100% - user photos of watches look better to me than the retail photos. Including this superocean. I'd never consider buying this watch based on what I saw earlier, and now I'm kind of digging the look seeing the pics here.
Mine showed up today! Includes stamped warranty, in original boxes, Bezel protector, and plastic around band.
it is a lighter blue than what shows in the pictures but I actually like it better! Now to make sure it is running properly.
the difference in this version over the new one from Breitling is the numbered dials on the version we have just purchased. I bought this model specifically for the numbers on the dial as all of my other watches don't have them!
Yeah, I have three drops that were completed before this one (as far back as early June), and I'll get this before any of those have even shipped.
....I'm not complaining. :)
Excited to get my Breitling delivered. I've worn Tag watches for a while, but couldn't/wouldn't justify the extra cost to get a Breitling watch. This Massdrop opportunity made it an easy decision to buy my first.
The second watch I ordered for a friend of mine. He wanted blue since he's has the opposite of what you has. All black that's why he wanted blue color lol. He has a black submariner/iwc/hamilton and I've already got a black gmt master ii. I felt bad for my friend when yesterday I was able to only ordered the last blue until an hour earlier that someone backed out :)
Trav7414Then it was meant to be! also i'm pretty particular when it comes to the shade of blue, so I would like to have seen this one in person first... But I'm sure its gorgeous though! Lol
