With roots dating back to 1884, Breitling knows its way around a timepiece. Perhaps best known for the Navitimer watch, worn ubiquitously by pilots in the mid 20th century, they’ve carved out an impressive reputation over the years. The Superocean Chronograph is a chronometer-certified automatic backed by Breitling’s B13 movement (based on a Valjoux 7750), with a power reserve of 42 hours. Water resistant to 200 meters, the watch features a rubber-molded unidirectional rotating bezel to calculate dive times. Of course, with a name like the Superocean, it’s gotta be tough—which is why the watch is made from stainless steel with a sapphire crystal.
