Received the belt today (fast shipping!) and it does appear to be pretty decent quality. However, I did note that it states that it is "Genuine Leather" on the back and not "full grain leather" as the drop description states. There's a big difference between the two, especially in how they withstand abuse and age over time. Here's a description of the types: https://highonleather.com/blogs/all-about-leather-bags/54127301-which-leather-is-best-for-your-bag
While I still feel that this is a decent deal, one reason I joined the drop is because a full grain leather belt at this price point is a very good deal.

thrillhoIn reading further down in the thread, it looks like the company rep states that the front is full grain leather, while the back is nubuck (i.e. genuine leather). That makes sense, although I was definitely thrown by what was embossed on the back. Should probably look into changing that to indicate the two types. Still a nice belt and pretty good deal.

thrillhoThank you for reminding me of the manufacturer's comments found below. I was scratching my head too yesterday when I read genuine leather and was thinking to myself I could have gotten this belt at TJ Maxx for less. The stamping should indicate "Italian Full Grain Leather Top" to better distinguish its build.
