So I should receive it tomorrow based on the information on the drop, yet it's still marked as "order placed with the vendor" ? You know a bit of an update before D-day would be appreciated when it becomes obvious that it will be delayed.

JamesXI don't know. They aren't giving any estimates as to how long the delays is schedule to be. I think the whole drop concept and the general customer acceptance of long lead times put Massdrop in a low accountability position with low effort put into communication. No reason was communicated, just a vague "unexpected delay". I hate to break it to them but aside from maybe plant explosion, pretty much no delay should be unexpected. I work in project management on projects of complexity several orders of magnitude higher than "procurement for a couple clothing items" and even then, most delays and risks can be accounted for. This blanket statement email shows a lack of competence on their part or worst, a disregard for their customers. I may be should cancel but I've waited more than a month already so what's the point. See how much I'm excited to have purchased this item from you Massdrop ? Is that how low the bar is for a successful business opportunity ?

VirguleThey just use the same verbage for all delays. I got the same notice for a previous item and I ended up canceling it.

VirguleThe silence is deafening. I guess it's ok to have our money but not report back on the delay in shipping. Maybe MD is getting a bit too big for it's britches.
Kind of like them ignoring requests to show the last 4 digits of your payment method on orders so you know what method you used.... kind of like every other online merchant does. I guess remaining unorganized is what they feel is part of their charm...
