There’s no piece of footwear as timeless as the work boot, a utilitarian and aesthetically simple symbol of a strong work ethic and solid backbone. Adding another entry to the pantheon of long lasting and high performance boots, Broken Homme hewed close to classic construction while adding a splash of skater style in manufacturing their Tydus Boot.
From the floor up, the Tydus was designed for the work week as much as the street. Manufactured in America with all domestic materials, Broken Homme sources their full grain leather from famed tanneries like Chicago’s Horween Leather Company. At the bottom of the boot, the frame is held in place by a steel shank, a longer lasting and more rugged upgrade over fiberglass or plastic shanks.
Built around a meticulously crafted model foot for the perfect fit and shape, the uppers are lasted to a molded and contoured lasting board that conforms to your foot and reinforces the footbed. Brought together with superior Goodyear welt construction, featuring a leather midsole filled with cork, the Tydus boasts superior fit and can be easily resoled. Bringing us home, a Vibram outsole ensures great grip on any surface.
