Mark.HoPlease define what you mean by "razor sharp" it will come very sharp but the angle of the grind will not be that of a razor... you will be able to refine the edged to make it dangerously sharp like I do if you know how😉

MbarronThanks for the quick reply! I meant sharp enough to shave with basically. I'm new to blades in general and i heard that razor sharp is about as sharp as it gets. How difficult is it to get it to "dangerously sharp" ? The blade looks difficult to sharpen due to the shape of it.

Mark.HoIt's a brous blade so it will be as sharp as any factory blade... when I get mine I will simply use my leather strope with compound on the rough side to smooth out the factory grind and then the face of the leather to polish the edge. That will complete the sharpen process to give it dangerouslay sharp razor like custom quality edge. It's fairly easy to do with a barbershop strope and some compound. The recurve to the blade does not matter when stroping because you are pulling the blade spine 1st

Mark.HoYou can safely shave with this blade, I have no doubt. I have had the Raven for about half a year now and I can still shave my girlfriends p.... with it! And she loves it!

WackyTabacyWhat is not necessary is you making up stories about shaving someone with a blade after a year of use without touching up the blade! Well unless it is a safe queen and you dont ever use it... I use almost all my knives in rotation and depending on what I'm doing Switch up knives for function. I'd bet good money you don't even own a set of whet stones!

Mark.HoI've bought from Brous a few times. He hand grinds the edge. They come quite sharp, but they won't be super perfect.
