Is it worth it the extra $30 for the Pro? Here are the extra features in the Pro: - Current relative humidity - Air density - Relative air density - Heat index (F, C) - Dew point (F, C) - Wet bulb (F,C) Density altitude (ft, m) I'm not sure what Heat Index means. Is it just temperature? How any of these features would help you? I live in Hawaii, and the barometric pressure, plus weather prediction, could save your life in case of a potential flash flood. We cross many streams in many of the hikes here. We can go online and read the rain gauges before going on a hike. But coming back from the woods is another story, especially if you're gone a couple days. Anyway, the Summit seems like something that could be really useful here. But is it worth it to get the Pro for Hawaii? And why? Aloha, Léo

LeoKauaiI don't think you need the added features for somewhere like Hawaii. Dew point is useful esp if camping in cooler areas as it tells you the temp at which your sleeping body vapours will condense and turn to liquid - wetting out the down near the top of your bag. Not much you can do to prevent it though !
