I recently built a mod very similar to this one. The Buffalo Modz as pictured looks to be built with a Hammond 1590A(BK) enclosure. The 510 connector looks fairly cheap on this one, looks like the one that can be had for about $2 at numerous vendors online. The switches are domed tactile switches which can also be had for fairly cheaply. The material cost on a unit like this (including wires, connectors, battery and chip) is about $90 give or take a few bucks. There are a number of people making mods similar to this one (almost identical) for a lot less money than this. The DNA30 IS fantastic. Absolutely incredible. Best chip I've used. Is it worth it to drop $250 on THIS particular mod? Not in my opinion. I'd rather spend that money on a mod with better fit and finish and custom machined parts, like a ZNA. While I understand it costs money to do business, all this person has done is what you yourself could do at home with a drill press, some files, a soldering iron, and epoxy. There isn't any original thought put into this mod other than the logo.

lucaslinkHeck, there's even step by step instruction from Mamu floating around on how to make these, with a better looking (imo) clear cover on them. I'd bet he followed the instructions, then got lazy on the cover.

1stGenRexThis looks to be basically directly using the Milo DNA20d guide available online, except the screen is vertical instead of horizontal.
Why the builder chose to put the display on the rear panel is a bit of a mystery. It's much more common to stick it on the same side as the fire and control buttons, which just makes sense.
And from the pictures the job they did on that box just looks sloppy. $100 more than a pile of very good OKR box mods and they can't even get it to look as good?

I believe Hana has had a bunch of cancellations for since the clone was announced... maybe we could grab some Hana Modz V3s as a drop?

dmillerIf you had these at your shop, I'm sure they'd be fully tested as you claimed in your earlier post. The real question is why would anyone pay this amount for a mod that is essentially the same as their DNA20 mod, but with a newer board? And by the way, the DNA30 boards cost the same as DNA20 boards, if you buy legit evolv boards, who knows if they are even evolv boards. A simple google search for buffalo modz will find their website and the price of this (seemingly) exact same box, but with a DNA20 board for $199. The only difference that I can see is the board, and the doubled battery mAh rating. Is 10 extra watts and the travel case(which won't even be used by most vapers) worth that extra ~$150? I couldn't justify it and if you were a self-respecting businessman, you couldn't either.
Edited to add battery info.

What makes a DNA 30 mod so much better than other vapes?

iamthepepeIt's variable wattage, as opposed to variable voltage. the max setting on this is 30 watts, as opposed to the old DNA20.

GansonThen you'd be paying too much unfortunately. Chances are you paid too much for your Hana too, but that's neither here nor there. Anyone could build their own mod better than this and the Hana with the right tools and a bit of research for much less than they would spend.

Eivind211You're right. Mamu even posted step by step instructions on how to make a mod VERY similar to this. Even having to buy a soldering station, and some practice stuff, and the materials, it would be quite a bit less than this.

510 is just a 510 to 510 adapter glued in place? not a custom made one?

scoopbbMy guess is it's not simply a 510 to 510 adapter, but more like the prewired 510 connectors sold at madvapes or the likes.
