so by total coincidence i just yesterday decided to build my first amp haha. i bought a cheap kit from ebay for 10 bucks just to get started. that amp coming with a NE5532. do you think this upgrade will be a big difference?
if yes which should i buy, the single or duel? whats the difference? i linked the amp in the first comment.

jeniagermanI'd try a Burr Brown op amp first. It may require a bit of value tweaking as I think the 5532 and the pin compatible Burr Brown model have slightly different current requirements. But 5532's are not terrible. There are a number of pro gear schematics that use them.
