Light on Weight, Big on Comfort

The Byer of Maine Easy Traveller Hammock is now smaller, lighter, and more packable. The side panels has been made narrower, ensuring the seam doesn’t rub against the user’s shoulder blades. Made from breathable, uncoated parachute nylon, the resulting hammock measures 116 by 56 inches, weighs just 13 ounces, and has a manufacturer-recommended weight capacity of 275 pounds. Plus, the attached stuff sack doubles as a pocket for your sunglasses or phone when you’re hanging out.

Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of colors between Cascade Blue, Fern Green, and Twilight Red. You can also add the Micro-Strap hanging system (+ $21).

About Byer of Maine

Founded in 1880 by a Russian immigrant family in Bangor, Maine, Byer of Maine originally produced slippers and textile products. In 1925, the company relocated to Orono, and over the next few decades began making wood-frame folding cots and canvas products for soldiers in World War II and the Korean War. Today, inspired by travels and trade relationships, Byer of Maine offers a full line of hammocks, hanging chairs, cots, stools, and other camp furniture from around the world.

Optional Micro-Strap

Compatible with all hammocks, this tree-friendly hanging system is composed of two straps, plus a custom aluminum clew bar and buckle for quick adjustments. The straps weigh 14 ounces total, measure 9 feet long apiece, and are made with box and cross stitching for security and strength. They have a manufacturer-recommended capacity of 440 pounds.
