There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement. Theirs has a 400lb weight capacity, ours is 275. We've tested ours to 600, but we like to be realistic and given the dimensions below, find it nearly impossible for anyone over 275 lbs to be comfortable in this hammock.
Theirs is 112" x 57", ours is 116" x 56". Theirs is 29oz., ours is 22oz.
Ours have the lightweight spreader bars in the netting so it doesn't fall down in your face when you sit up to look around. The spreader bars are removable incase you don't need the mosquito netting and want to use it in reverse without the netting.
Hope this helps.
