I got this last time around and wanted to give some feedback. The fabric on this hammock is awesome. I have several other hammocks (hennessey, warbonnet, ENO) and the fabric on this seems tougher than any of the above. I have no hesitation putting my 55lb husky on this, but I keep him off my ENO as I'm afraid his nails will go through it. This isn't made of the usual parachute type material. I put whoopie slings on mine from Amazon, and I also ordered the net version from a recent drop as well that I plan to use the Byer straps on. It comes with some rope tied through the channels at each end of the hammock, I cut mine off to put in my whoopie slings. I'm 6/1, 240lb and use this for lounging. This hammock holds me and my 35lb daughter (5 years old, ~3ft tall) just fine. If I want to camp I will use my hennessey or warbonnet. Happy to answer any questions you guys have.

Keep in mind if you want to do the whoopie slings you will still need tree savers and a pair of carabiners.

MilkyxjFabric aside, how would you rate your Byer vs an ENO for build quality? I have a double nest but am looking for a light weight hike setup and am between this and an ENO sub 7. How small does it pack up?
Thanks!

lecrouchI have not used this particular hammock, but I found the Eno Sub7 to be constructing and not very comfortable. I use a Humminbird Single+ (~7oz) and find it much more accommodating.

lecrouchBuild quality is good. The ends are triple stitched and the long edges are single. The stuff sack is larger than it needs to be, it would compress to 1/2 the size of the double nest and weighs less as well.

MilkyxjI'm 5'7" and quite light. Would this work for camping for me?
