Mayora13Mayora13,
Do not fret, this is a very different microphone from the GXL2600. The Zoe is an omni-directional mic for one thing. It has a smaller capsule and diaphragm and limited frequency response in comparison to the 2600. The Zoe is great for beginning podcasters or those just starting to exploring recording. However, I got to do some sampling with it at NAMM, I must say for the price it is an amazing piece!
The closest mic I could compare this to would be a Yeti Snowball. Looks aside, it has a headphone jack for simultaneous monitoring of recording, its small so it won't take up too much space on your desk, and the volume controls on the front make for quick and on the fly level adjustments.
That's my opinion, I am always glad to answer a question and keep them coming!
