Received mine three days ago and just had a chance to try it out. Sorry for those of you having problems, but mine is problem free both visibly and audibly. Box (outer and inner) were in pristine condition. Mic looks and tests great... I'm running it in a treated voiceover booth through a 15' Mogami Gold cable to a Scarlett pre-amp. This mic definitely lives up to its claim of lowest noise floor and sounds great no matter how close I work it. I'm very happy with this purchase from Massdrop and will keep my eye out for other great audio gear here in the future.

HaystackVO Thanks for posting this. Would you mind posting a download link to a WAV file of just the mic running in your booth? (wetransfer or dropbox). I've ordered one of these in the latest drop and am keen to compare self-noise levels from different versions of the same mic once it has arrived.
