No one from Massdrop has responded to my (and others') queries about this product, and I could only find a similar product online to research it, with very mixed reviews, so not going to take a chance on this item.

Does anyone know if the copper imparts any flavor to the food? Won't the copper oxidize over time?
SullybobThey do not impart any flavors to your food from my experience. I have not noticed any oxidation either but if they are left covered in water too long there is a risk of tarnishing. If tarnishing does occur simply cleaning them with lemon juice and salt will bring them back to a shine very quickly.

I tried to research these, only one other place offering this particular model/set. Reviews on another model of, I think, copper-clad flatware were mixed, some spoke of them quickly tarnishing. Wondering if there is any info from the company on the durability of the finish, copper care & cleaning , etc.?
emdeeThere is a chance these will tarnish over time, but drying them quickly after washing will mitigate this. If tarnishing does occur, washing them with lemon juice and salt will bring them back to life.

Ranzagood question!
RanzaThe copper coating should not come off at all. If they are cleaned and dried after each use you should not have any problems with the copper.
