- First, it's really cool, and totally worth the price. It doesn't just cut things, you can also get pens for it to draw things. With a little work you can make custom card games with it, papercraft stuff, business cards, whatever.
- The software it comes with has some drawbacks though. It doesn't let you do multiple layers with different tools (like, a layer with the pen, and a cutting layer). It's not great at importing DXF, although it claims to. I don't have the special pro version that this bundle includes though.
- But, there's a third-party program for it called "Make the Cut" that works really well and includes all the stuff the Silhouette software doesn't.
So, hardware awesome, software (maybe) lame, but better software available.
