Plus, it weighs just 0.8 ounces. For ice climbing and mountaineering, opt for the Photon Wire or Dyson wire. Both boast a massive gate opening, a contoured wire gate for excellent clipping action, and a thin spine that makes grabbing it off gear loops a breeze. When you’re not climbing, you can use any of the three carabiners for your hammock setups, PCT-method bear hangs, and more.
