Since there are audiophiles here, I need some help. I am going through earplugs like my newborn is going through his diapers. Either cable crack, drivers break or fail, or the the bud just falls apart. I like the idea of an aluminum shell and detachable cables. Any of you in the know, are there other products for the casual listeners that are similar to the Campfire but not as pricey? If not, I might just have to get one of these.....

DesastorMEE Audio M6 Pros or the Shure SE 215 are good, they both have detachable cables and sound pretty good for the price.

DesastorWell, why not the Hifiman RE-00 right here on MD? By all accounts it should be a great entry earphone, as it's based on the discontinued RE-0 and it's really affordable too ($35), so you don't feel horrible if it has an unfortunate accident :p
But no detachable cable, might be something to consider if that's a concern.

KimchiH8rMEE Audio M6 Pro is very good and retails for $40-$50. Detachable cable. Comfortable for long listening sessions. I own that and having said it, I think I'm going to get this :-)

Desastorout of the tons I've tried most vsonics are very sturdy. I totally abuse my gr07's and family do similar with them or other models and they outlasted most other iem's in same price range by over a year or two now. The vsd are similar but cheap and significant other uses them.
