This seems to be a good price for this IEM. Even B-stock goes for around $650 for these.

jaydunndidditSince you have also very insightfully commented on the Focal Elex drop. If you had *only* a $700 budget (i.e. you can't get both), which of the two would you buy if the main use case is to listen at my home office which I spend 8-10h/day at? I know it's a bit of apples and oranges, but I would value your input here.

rdodevElex, no question. They offer something the Jupiter cannot deliver on and have their own unique sound. That's not a knock on the Jupiter as they sounded quite competent when I sampled them but their sound sig reminds me of so many other multi-BA IEMs. Nothing else really sounds like the Elex (except other Focals) or have its unique dynamic nature. They both have outstanding build quality but the Elex really does feel like a premium, $700 product. Even its storage box is swanky with its magnetic-lid and padding. I also like the fact you can store the Elex in its box without removing the cables. Something I wish every manufacturer would keep in mind as it seems like such a minor thing. Lastly, the Elex comes with a balanced XLR cable so it's ready to be paired with a balanced amp if you have one in your stable. I truly can't recommend them enough. I listen to mine just about every day for several hours from watching TV, playing games, or listening to music. And usually an hour of that is lying in bed with them on till I fall asleep. They have me saving for the Utopia as I enjoy the Focal house sound that much it seems.
This is a good price on this drop but if I was going to spend more on a Campfire product, I'd settle for the Andromeda or Vega depending on taste. The Andro while technically superior wasn't my favorite compared to the Vega which I just adore. It's so dynamic and visceral while being highly resolving that it makes me look twice at other IEMs I have thought highly of for years. It's not everyone's cup of tea but man is it unique and demands your attention.
