I live in Portland, OR and had the pleasure of getting an early listen to the original trio of Campfire IEM (Orion, Lyra, and Jupiter) before they were launched. At that time if I'd had the money, I would've purchased those two and ended my IEM search for a good long time. The original Lyra had a full, lush sound signature with just enough sparkle up top. It was the kind of IEM to kick back in your stuffed leather chair, sip a fine single malt, and get lost in the music. Since then I've heard all of the Campfire IEM with the exception of the latest three (Lyra II, Vega, and Dorado). A generous headfi buddy is loaning me Vega next week. After that, I might stop by ALO and see if I can grab a listen to the other two. Needless to say I'm a big Campfire believer now. I think one of the new dynamic IEM + Andromeda would be great TOTL companions in anyone's arsenal. I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on these right now but am sending my daughter to Dublin for study abroad next semester. If I didn't have to budget for that (and a trip over to see her), I'd buy these in a heartbeat!
